Change of colour IC vs OOC

I would like to know if it would be possible for a visual cue for when one is sending a message OOC vs IC.

  1. A difference between
    w <person> =: <message>
    w <person> =:> <message>

  2. Even if possible, when one is placing (( <text> )) inside an IC message.

One, would help the sender realize if they mistakenly typed > in their message.
Two, might help the sender know if they have closed off their brackets correctly.

These are only nice to haves and a super low priority. But it could enhance the experience. There could also possibly be a toggle to turn this on and off if someone doesn’t like it, or prefers one over the other.

Edit:
Altered some issues with styling.

I know a lot of people who regularly use formatting in their RP and lament messing it up.
I often mangle the formatting for links forgetting the order of brackets. Making the editor WYSIWYG might be nice to spot formatting errors, maybe hard to implement

Oh yeah, implementing it could be a real bleh of a time.

But I have seen how commands, people and messages have different colours. Even when folk are offline it shows as red.

So I am hoping Boss Wolf has figured a nifty way to sort that out, and hope we can enhance that a bit more.

I think this could be covered by the following issue:

There is also a GitHub issue for it (I updated it to include this request):
