Terrible Suggestions!

There are so many wonderful and interesting suggestions, great ideas for improving Wolfery and Mucklet as a whole. But… what about awful ones? What about the worst, most dogshit suggestions imaginable? How can you spin them to make them sound almost appealing?

I’ll start with a feature un-request… Recall!

With Recall, supporters can mark their rooms public or private. Regular users’ rooms and all legacy rooms are marked public by default. When a room is public, the room will ‘remember’ the last 10 messages sent in it, IC or OOC, by anyone. Using the Recall command (available only to supporters) produces those 10 messages.

Go into a room and want to know where folks are at? Just use recall!

Want to see if the scene you’re walking in on is appropriate for you? Recall!

Want to see how recently a room had active people in it? Recalled messages have timestamps!

A perfect solution, no need to interrupt the flow of RP by typing ‘>oi, what’s the sitch in here.’ And then getting the same answer five times. Just use recall! Why shouldn’t this be a thing? I cannot think of a single reason.

Scream: the opposite of whisper. It posts your message to every room in the area group, just to make sure that everyone around can make it to events. There is no possible way this could be abused.

The mucks used to have a @shout command that would reach everyone, but it had its deliberate limitations on use.

We have wiz-shout equivalent, that pops a toaster up on everyone’s screen.

And then there’s actual scream on FM which is like an IRC overlay on top.

  1. Rumour. A subchanel where you can leave anonymous rumours about people, and make sure the environment goes toxic fast.
  2. Coloured text. Add colour to your text and make sure everything you write is unpleasant and hard to read.
  3. Gibberiser: Converts all your spoken text to gibberish unless you pay your monthly support fee to get cleartext.
  4. STD: Detects if you’re whisper/page fucking, or boinking in a room and auto rolls a 1d20. Roll a 1 and you both catch furry clap. This is auto-transmitted to anyone else you hump.
  5. The X edit image button so you can edit other people’s User pics using GenAI.
  6. Public notes. Left notes on someone? Now everyone can see!
  7. Nitro.

Statistics!

Average pose length, most used commands, average time spent in an interaction, most visited area and room. Surely no one would ever use this info to be toxic, gate keep, or to stalk people. No, never!
