Something I'm wondering might be useful for DnD

So, something that happens now with DnD, at least that I’m aware of, is that it simply blocks all messages. What I’m wondering, is how hard might it be to code it so you can add certain characters to a whitelist, so that you can get messages from them, while still blocking everything else. Obviously mods and people who receive messages from you could be exceptions, with the ones who get messaged by you being temporary. Maybe like 30 minutes or so, if they wish to respond to you. Though, that is secondary, and mods just get an exception since they’re mods. They kinda need to be able to message someone if something involving them happens. Just something I was thinking about, since it might help those people who don’t like being messaged randomly.
