Requested feature- Away Count Removal

Please remove currently “Away” users from the population counts of areas!

I’ve used this site near-daily for years and this above all else has annoyed me. When I look at areas, I want to see how many people are Actually In The Area in the context of Wolfery as a shared-world RP, not a thread with markers for people stalking it. If someone isn’t engaging with rp, I don’t want to see an area marked as though there’s people there who are actually RPing. You could probably stuff them in some lesser count in the same way that that people in private rooms are semihidden. Areas will look lively- 20 people in a common area or 6-10 somewhere niche- but if you actually visit, you’d be lucky to find 5 actual users in the former or even 1 in the latter, buried somewhere in the sub-rooms and back alleys of an area. There’s plenty of users- I wouldn’t have stuck around if there weren’t- but the counting of people who might as well be asleep as currently filling up areas makes them a pain to find.

So far, there’s only user scripts to do this. See the flowing post: Idle character sweeper And idle character filter - #17 by Kredden
