Release v1.33.0 - Pioneer privileges

A tiny release to support higher character cap privileges for pioneers. It also includes some rule updates.

Features

Account role based capping

The server now supports different character and profile count caps depending on account roles.

New players will have the following limits:

  • 5 characters per realm
  • 5 profiles per character

This cap will have little to no affect on most players.
Pioneers will continue to enjoy more generous caps.

Improvements

Rule additions

A Characters section has been added under help rules. This section adds three restrictions on characters, roleplay, and character images:

  • No canon characters - Canon characters created or owned by someone else are not allowed.
  • No underaged humans - Sexual roleplay with underaged human characters is not allowed.
  • No pornographic images - Uploading sexually suggestive or explicit photos of real people is not allowed.

In addition, another behavioral rule has been added:

  • No public toxicity - Creating a poor roleplay environment by venting negative emotions in public areas may get you suspended.

Puppets help

A few new section has been added to the help puppets text, to clarify how to play with puppets, how to interact with puppets. and how to report puppeteers:

Playing a puppet
Most puppets have a How to play section below their description, only visible for the puppeteer. This section provides info on how the puppet is intented to be played.

Interacting with a puppet
Each puppeteer will add their own personal touch to a puppet. Respect if a puppeteer plays a puppet differently than you would have preferred, and do not expect roleplay contingency between different puppeteers.

Reporting a puppet
If a puppeteer breaks any rules while playing the puppet, you can report them as usual. Note that breaking character, not following the How to play guidelines, is not against the rules. To complain about how a puppet is played, contact the puppet’s owner by sending a mail to the puppet. Mails sent to a puppet always lands in the owner’s inbox.
