Account roles
We’ve had realm roles for a while; admin, moderator, builder.
This release adds account roles that are tied to your account, no matter which realm you are on.
The purpose of these roles is to unlocks new features and grant permissions for those worthy.
For all of you pioneers, you can expect to be given a new role soon!
Persistent notices
There is now support for “toaster” notices that will wait to show up until next time the player is online. This is to notify users of things such as added or removed account roles, that may be granted while they are offline:
Title tags
If you have been given a realm role, or an account role, you might have access to title tags.
A title tag is a tag that can only be used if you have certain roles or fulfill certain requirements. They are placed first in a character tag list, and marked with a blue color and a shield symbol:
When listing tags, using the list tags command or listing them via the Edit Character page, you will only see tags you are eligible for. It is also not possible to add custom tags with the same name as title tags.
Note to moderators
Adding the moderator title tag to a character is optional. However, if you are acting as a moderator in a room, you should always be prepared to prove your moderator status claim by adding the tag.
