I’ve noticed a few plush wandering Sinder and others carrying smaller plush friends around - but I’m not aware of a dedicated place to take care of them. Perhaps there’d be some interest in this? Unlike traditional plush stores the focus would be on repair and building your own, although I could see refurbished toys being put up for sale as well - perhaps by a Leavanny proprietor?
This’d probably be another Lamplight build; I could see it in Patchwork as well, but the age range there trends a little high for the traditional plush audience (and frankly, it doesn’t get the footfall).
What would you like to see/do in such an establishment? Do you see it in a different location?
It got put on the back-burner while I was working on scripted noises and the personal zone that went with them, Albia. I’ve also been busy with Inkbunny staffing, but that’s mostly done now. As you say, makes sense inside or outside Patchwork, still tending towards a place off of Baker’s Boulevard but the move definitely makes inside more viable.
Good news! The Build-A-Hare Workshop is open for business, at the south-east corner of Bakers Boulevard in Lamplight, for plush, kigus and custom orders. This small space will evolve as RP demands - please feel free to give feedback as to what else you’d like to see.
Those from more prosperous realms may be familiar with the Build-A-Hare franchise, but this is its first Rift outlet.
Besides the usual choice of stuffing, scent, sound and accessories, this shop also offers repair and modification services, not just for plushies purchased at the establishment.
