Moderator resignation

Some of our moderators has decided to step down from their roles due to some long going conflicts in regards to moderation style, moderation insights, and moderation tools. I know that the tools and the policies have been limiting in their wish to do their job at the best of their abilities.

But, I just want to say my thanks to all of them!
Thank you for all your effort in making Wolfery a nice and friendly place to be.
Thanks for your input, your ideas, and your good judgement calls.

We all owe you.

So, if you see them, I hope you’ll all show them the appreciation they deserve.

While I do genuinely feel my style of proactive moderation was possibly not the best fit for what we’re aiming for here and there were some frustrations around that at times - that really wasn’t why I resigned; simply a valid reason for why doing so would be a reasonable decision at this time.

Regardless, if anybody at all is concerned about this change: There’s still plenty of staff coverage regardless.

Please file reports when there are problems which involve people breaking actual rules.

Whether its somebody being extra mean spirited to other players or somebody opting to ignore rules that are put in place for one area or another, give the volunteers a heads up using the report tool so they don’t have to work as hard correcting matters. Provide some info mentioning what the problem is and set a good timeframe for the logs so they can readily see what the problem is.

There are still plenty of ways people can help build community regardless of wearing a badge or not and I’ll still be doing that as much. I encourage any of the rest of you to do so as well.

Thanks.
