Merge accounts

Hey, I had to create a new account since my old one was tied to a lost Google Account.

Specifically, the jmac32here@gmail.com Google account that I had to delete due to the account being compromised.

I had already re-created my character and given ownership of the old accounts rooms to this account on Wolfery. (The character I own is Drako Claw and on the old account he is now Drako-Old Claw-Old.)

However, is there any way to merge the rest into this new account and completely delete the old account?

Hi Drako!

There are no account merge or transfer feature available at the time of writing.

It is possible for admins (me :slight_smile: ) to transfer characters from one account to another.
Since the transferred character would retain their ownership of rooms and areas, they would indirectly be transferred as well to the new account.

However, this will not affect things such as: mail, notes, watch list, roles (such as pioneer or supporter) or other non-character related info.

Also, the chat logs stored in your browser’s database will still be for your old account. This could in theory be fixed by running some javascript code in your browser, that rewrites all logs to your new account - but that would require some deeper knowledge in both javascript and how data is stored.

But I will eventually finish the feature that allows me to set a new username for an account (including for accounts previously using Google login). Then you can regain full access to your old account.

Go ahead and move my old character to my new account and delete my old account please.
