Here in the forum there’s a really awesome live post preview. I’m looking at it right now, as I type! It shows what my post will look like once I submit it. I absolutely love it. Can we get that for the normal messages and poses in the client? It could even indicate when a command like a help function would not be visible to other players. I imagine it should be a collapsible option attached to the current text field. Perhaps displaying just above or below what we type. This would MOSTLY be a useful feature for new users, but I don’t know how many times I’ve wrongly formatted something because I was swapping between MUCKs or clients and used the wrong one.
Unfortunately no. This one is not possible.
The forum’s live preview is nice. It is a feature of Discourse, which is the open source forum we use.
But to implement it in Wolfery is not plausible for several reasons.
At least the color coding of the Wolfery’s console editor helps a bit, right?
