Hi! I am fairly new here, but I had an idea, and I’ve been stuck on it for a while now, so decided to build it out and see how it felt.
The premise is, that it seems there’s quite a few Pokémon characters appearing around Sinder, and I know there’s already a Pokémon centre, and a battlefield in the forest if you head along the charred path. But I wanted to expand it a bit more, and have a full Guild there too!
For those unaware, Guilds are a term used in the spin off ‘Mystery Dungeon’ Pokémon Games, and are comprised of Rescue and Explorer teams! My idea would be to run it as if it was that, I’d have a Character that served as Guildmaster, and other Pokémon can come and sign up as, or join a team. I’d then have a place in the guild where I could post jobs, and the one requesting it. To take up the job, a member of the team would either reach out to the person in need, or to me, where I’d do that myself.
As for the jobs themselves, they could really be anything. I feel like it would be nice for people to acquire certain things via some sort of RP. Need a rare stone found somewhere far away? Request a job, and a team can reach out to you to explain they found it, and even meet up to deliver it.
Lost an item during an RP? A team can ‘retrieve’ it for you.
Need an escort through a dangerous city or area? Hire a team for support!
There’s plenty I feel could be done with a small, rp based system like this, and thought it’d be fun to see how it plays out.
I would also be happy in making a variety of jobs myself that i would post up, if a team just wants an excuse to go off on an rp, which I think would be pretty fun!
I’ve also pondered the idea of non-Pokémon characters joining a team, which I don’t see why not, as long as they have an idea of what they are getting into.
There’s also the subject of the lewd variety of jobs too, and I don’t see a downside to that either.
I’ve built the Guild, and I think I’ve got all the necessary rooms for it sorted, but I’m not sure what the next steps are. Or how to let people come check it out themselves.
[Edit]
I believe I need to leave the Room ID here, so this should lead to the first room that you’d arrive in when you enter.
