Home documentation suggestion

‘help home’ should give indications of where to look about setting your home.

Currently it just says ‘sends your character home’. Perhaps add 'See also ‘help register home’ to it?

The help command is about the command’s function – not about how a realm works.

Why this matters: Once there are realms, the help system would have to adapt to each new realm. That’s not a good code design.

We need to rely on people, boards, and other social ways to help people setup homes.

I forget this command all the time. Even saying sends your character to where it is registered home would help the disambiguation. Makes me think home is an attribute to be assigned with set.

There’s been a few times I made a room for someone to set as their home, or I wanted to rehome myself… how do I do it? Is it ‘set home=roomID’? ‘link home’? Something else? There’s lots of possible options for how it could have been done for that command, and I use it so infrequently that I forget! So I go for help on the topic… ‘help home’. I expect a list of the various things related to the topic of home, with subsection specific help and examples for specific commands. How do I set a home? How do I list what room my home is set to? How do I go home? Those are the questions I expect answers to from the help documentation.

It does seem that typing ‘help home’ should not only tell you that the command sends you home, but also mentions “‘type register home’ to set your home”.

I first read this as “how and where to set a home.” As in the apartments or such. Including register information for a home sounds like a good addition.
