Hello all,
Xetem here, hoofed dragon extraordinaire, here to tell you about a wonderful feature of Wolfery: Profiles!
What are profiles?
Profiles (sometimes called Morphs by those of us who have frequented MUCKs) are a list of saved character traits that you can load into at any time.
On each profile in Wolfery you can keep the following information stored:
- Image
- Avatar
- Gender
- Species
- Description
This means that profiles can be stored for a number of reasons, including (but not limited to):
- Having separate pictures and gender text for genderfluid pals and those into long-term gender transformation.
- Having separate picture and descriptions for different outfits, say a regular everyday attire, a birthday suit, and some evening wear.
- Having different fields in any which way and configuration for transformation-focused characters with some common results played with.
- And so much more!
So if you’re the kind of person that has ever found themselves changing their pictures or descriptions often, look for the profiles icon or lookup help profiles
to get started today!
A Couple Tips!
When making a profile, you can overwrite the saved profile’s information with your current attire by clicking the repeat icon between the apply and edit buttons on a profile
That will prompt you to replace your saved profile with your current one, saving some of the hassle of changing profiles while editing.
Also, activating a profile with Apply, replaces your current description, but it also only makes a copy of it, and any modifications made will need to be saved back onto the profile using the above method, or they’ll be lost. But don’t worry, any unsaved descriptions will warn you when you try to overwrite them without saving when you try to apply a profile over it.
