There has long been the war between ‘I want to type a wall of text’ and ‘Holy hell that text wall is impossible to deal with’. I would like to suggest a neutral ground where entries over X displayed lines get collapsed and can be expanded. (show more/show less type mechanics) You see it all over in forums and such, and it would help those who do not want to have their screen scrolling an entire buffer from one post (or even more for folks on mobile) if they aren’t an active part of that conversation while still allowing folks to be as descriptive and involved as they like.
