Sometimes, it can be convenient (especially in high traffic rooms) to have a way of separating messages targeting you directly (message, whisper, etc) separated from the main window. A toggle to split the screen into public and private, optionally either moving the messages in their entirety to the spawn window or just duplicating them, could be handy.

I like the idea!
I wonder where such a toggle button would be placed though. Maybe at the far right on the console’s character tabs bar (but with an icon for split rows instead of columns) :
GUI wise, I imagine that pressing it would just fade out the entire log, then fade in the split chat view instead.
Might take a while before I get to it though, as there are more urgent features & fixes
