Add an option to add abbreviated timestamps (or even ability to specify format) to main window. I.e:
[12:30:00] Maximus barks!
This in addition to the hover timestamps already implemented.

Sounds like a reasonable feature.
I know most chats have it. Personally I think it clutters more than it provides, and that the hover is enough; I am often only interested in checking when the last post by someone was made.
How do you use it? (just to understand the use case)
