With many more people around, scrolling back to the point of a previous log export is taking QUITE a while. Especially if I get forgetful and let it go for a few days. Or months… (I forgot and had to scroll back from June to April and I was scrolling for more than half an hour…) So I propose having the client remember the last point of export. In the export dialog could have one button for 'export from ’ and a second ‘export from marker’. Exporting from the marker would set a mark at the most recent line and then export from the last marker. Maybe add a check mark to the ‘from line’ to use it to set a marker. In the future, this could be expanded to features like ‘Trim log to last mark’ as a way to reduce log storage in the client…
