Not really anything ground breaking, just had a small idea to improve the AWAY command.
As it is, it only makes your characters name Orange (IE away/afk) as well as place it in your status if you write anything further.
What i thought is that similar to sleep command , it can generate a text in the current room the character is in. A small example would be:
Default message: Only afk/ away is written in chats displays "[Character name]: Has to depart momentarily but might return soon.
Or as sleep, it can be personalized if anyone wishes
Written Command - “AFK: begins doom scrolling on his phone to the point it becomes his world for now”
Displayed - “[Character name] begins doom scrolling…”
I’m not sure if this is capable given it will create issues i’m sure with the status box, but it might help people use the AFK command more as a quick “shite irl’s taking me away and i don’t have time to explain to my rp partner” button. As it might also require a separate new command given some players might also just wish for the Orange text and nothing else.
But i wanted to suggest non the less.
