Exits -> Visible/Obvious Exits

In several cases the client talks about “exits” when it should clarify that it means “visible” (or “obvious”) exits - otherwise it’s misleading the user if there are hidden exits.

This is an issue with at least:

  • The “Exits” section title on each room
  • Below the section title: “There are no exits” (present if there are no visible exits - this is what got me thinking about this issue)
  • The same two cases on the Edit Exits page, plus “Create new exit” -> “Create new visible exit”

This is true, but… I cannot think of any way to represent a hidden exit in a UI because that would make it visible and defeat the purpose of hiding the exit. It is quite the quandary.

That’s actually a pretty neat idea, because in practice if there’s a way in you probably would remember it - at least for a while…
