Is there a way to create a public area if not that’s fine, I’m not very used to commands and the create room and area stuff is suoer confusing.
You cannot create an area that is automatically listed as a public area.
You can create a private area/rooms which you then polish up and propose the area to the builder team to be added to the public grid in a specific location where it makes sense.
The help commands help build rooms and help build areas contain more or less all of the commands needed for handling both concepts. Basically you create and describe rooms and link them together with exits after looking for the get room id so you can tell the exit where it needs to go. list rooms will show you all of your rooms for easy access to all of your room ids. Once you have all of your rooms linked together sensibly, you can create an area and assign each of those rooms to be contained within that area, as well as include information about the area for people who visit.
