Community Events - Something For Everyone

Hello!

I’m fairly new to the community, but some of you have likely interacted with me in Sinder Park by now! I haven’t delved as deeply into the forums yet, so forgive me if I’m retreading old ground, but I’m curious about a few things!

Firstly, would anybody be interested in a regular host for community events scattered around the world? A new location every month to showcase some local event, holiday, or cultural norm? Or just generalized events to look forward to on a regular basis? A simple dance performance, stand-up act, festival, or other interactive game?

These events can vary in tone from SFW to NSFW, of course, as I’d want to include as much of the community as possible and cover a wide variety of interests. Give folks a reason to travel if the events that take place closer to Sinder prove fruitful.

Secondly, and quite off topic (maybe even served as a separate topic altogether, but I digress), but I would like to hear some advice from you all!

I’m a fade-to-black player when it comes to detailed explicit NSFW scenes, but it’s been difficult to outline my boundaries into a satisfying snippet, as I’m not a prude. I can write out nudity, strip teases, physical contact, descriptions that might sound borderline to my fade-to-black claims, etc. Is there a good way to word this beyond the above for players? I know OOC communication is a must here, but I’m still curious on feedback as to how I’ll be faring here on Wolfery!

My experiences so far have been a delight and folks have been plenty polite.

Thank you for the welcome and reply!

I was curious about that side of events, yes. The advertising portion. But also just the notion set events might be a continual thing, but I can see how that would be difficult if folks aren’t peeking into the forums now and again.

The second part, I kind of have tags that explain it in similar words. My problem is my boundaries are really conditional depending on player vibe, intent, and how the details actually read. I was pondering on if there was a better way to phrase it as not to turn off more folks than necessary, but I think this’ll have to do!
