When I first introduced my build, the original 5 cities were Pacifica, Kiyogawa, Kamatumbua, Myojin (formerly Salagalu City), and Aurelia. While there is something to do with the first 4 cities, I decided that Aurelia will need to go sometimes this year. There are a lot of factors into this decision, but specifically…
- Out of all the areas, there is really nothing to do there.
- The crime-ridden city no longer fits the theme due to underutilization and other builds from the red line offering a better and expansive environment for this type of RP.
- An idea to replace Aurelia came from the planned Shinka update, in which Aurelia would be replaced with a new city. This idea is pulled from that planned update to act as a standalone update.
Heiwana-shi | 平和な
Heiwana is a city in the Miyajima (Serenity) Prefecture. It was founded in 1845 as a small fishing village before being industrialized and turned into a city in the present day.
Lore-wise, the Salagalan government would promise to provide powerful fiscal incentives, such as special bonds and finances, in the event of a merger between Aurelia and Heiwana, and after public support from both cities due to declining population, the merger is set to occur in July 2026 to form the Heiwana Metropolitan Government.
OOC-wise, I have some ideas for how I could proceed with the replacement initiatives.
- Lotus Theater | An area heavily inspired by the Uptown Tempur Theater in the Philippines. There would be a lobby to hang out in and a theater, which instead of seats has queen-sized beds to provide an immersive, first-class movie-viewing experience. (2 rooms)
- J.M. Jewelry | An area where you buy jewelry, rings, or necklaces to wear for the special occasion. Can also be used as a setting for a robbery (1 room)
- The Francine Plaza | A mixed-use, community-driven plaza area with the main emphasis on walkability and bikeability. It consists of The Francine Plaza (main), a beauty salon, The Francine Apartment, Heiwana Connect (phone store), an upscale grocery store, and a bicycle store. This will also act as a neighborhood with the apartment acting as such (albeit with the lack of additional rooms such as hallways, pool, gym, etc. due to room limitations) (6 rooms).
- Unmanned 24-hour noodle shop | Heavily inspired by multiple South Korean unmanned noodle shops, this is where you’ll buy the noodles, add toppings to your liking, and make it yourself. (1 room)
As of now, I’m about to start working on the replacement project under a different account so that Aurelia will remain accessible; then once everything is reviewed and approved, it will be replaced.
I’ll send the code once it’s ready.
