Currently, focus @all delivers desktop notifications as expected whenever a new post appears in the log (presuming the Enable Notifications checkbox is ticked).
However, using focus <character> does not deliver desktop notifications for the focused characters. If one is in, say, Sinder Park, and only wants to be pinged when one of three people send a message, there is no ping at all, and so you must manually switch to the window to see if any of their (correctly highlighted) messages have arrived.
