Hello! It’s been a -while- since I’ve been active in Wolfery. If I have anything to say about it, that is changing as of a few days ago.
With that in mind, I’d like to renovate the area I built all those years ago - Blackhoof Stables. In my absence, some other rooms have been connected, and not built in keeping with the standards I hold for my area. It looks like Accipiter took ownership of the area while I was gone, and I was wondering what I’d need to do to get it back?
I’m mainly wanting to clean up some of the rooms from others that haven’t been on in 2+ years - I will also extend mail’s to those players detailing what I’d need to see to have their rooms reconnected, and if there are active players who had set their home in those rooms, I’m planning on extending an invitation for them to link to one of the new rooms once my renovations are complete.
It looks like you regained the room ownership, given how the stables look now. I’d kindly ask you to reach to the team when you’re done with the renovations and before you reopen them again.
As Shinyuu says above - the sudden disappearance of the area does have some on-grid consequences. I would perhaps suggest arranging to have the original area present for now, and do any changes on a set of temporary rooms that can be linked in when the changes are complete. I know a few people regularly use the fields as a hangout for their characters; the disappearance is likely to have uprooted a few people as is.
I’m not wanting to remove the Blackhoof Stables from the grid while it’s undergoing renovations - Just removing some rooms from within the area. I have room ownership over several rooms, so I was able to disconnect the problematic rooms, but not /area/ ownership to be able to remove those same rooms from the area room list.
And, certainly, I’ll be happy to reach out once it’s all squared away.
Hey! I messaged Maximus (I think?) ingame, but wanted to drop something here too, just so it isn’t lost.
When one of you get a sec, would you mind taking a look at the stables to see what I’ve done with it? Critique and whatnot, make sure thinks look good.
Once all that’s said and done, I’d like to discuss an idea I’ve been kicking around for a potentially reoccurring event.
