Hi, I’ve been thinking of making a secondary account for some extra characters separate from the family that comprises my first account’s characters. I would like to know if there are any rules against doing so first.
This question is definitely one for @Accipiter, as I’m not sure we’ve had many discussions about this as staff yet.
If there’s any limitation or related supporter-based quota increases, I can see why using multiple accounts might be of concern so its probably good to get the site owner’s input on this matter.
However, policing this would be difficult but maybe not completely impossible to some effect. But, there’ll always be false positives on good faith situations where multiple users under the same IP could reasonably have two different accounts (roomies/partners or whatever else).
Can definitely see wanting to have multiple accounts not permitted in order to make it much more clear when somebody is violating the rules trying to get around block/mute/moderation actions too.
Suppose we’ll see what Accipiter has to say about the matter hopefully.

Multiple accounts are okay.
Any other rule would be too much of a hazzle! 
You can even use the same email address for multiple accounts.
However, if a player has multiple accounts, and gets banned on one of them, this ban will apply to all accounts. It is not the account getting banned, but the player. So, any additional account would then be considered a ‘ban bypass’ account.
Yes, you can use multiple accounts to bypass quotas, if you are not willing/able to support this project.
But that is fine with me.
