Presently, if you have hidden the character info tab, it does not unhide when you try to look at another character. This can cause confusion with some new users who have not spotted this feature, leaving them wondering how to look at characters. Automatically unhiding the character info tab would likely be good UX practice, as clicking a new character to look at them would necessarily mean the pane has to be unhidden anyways.

Good catch.
I fully agree. If you look at someone, you expect to see that person, not only have it change inside a hidden tab ~ that is just weird UX behavior.
