I’m glad you brought this up; I was thinking about this last night. A friend who I knew from FurryMUCK reached out because I hadn’t been active there in a while (for obvious reasons). They happen to be blind and I’m honestly not sure what the best solution is for them.
I believe the ResGate protocol that Mucklet uses has been implemented in a few libraries, but I think around here the focus has been building bots rather than alternate clients. Anyway I imagine there’s low-hanging fruit like alt text on images and buttons that’d help? Such issues can get fixed if reported; suggestions on how to fix it may help even more.
